How can I motivate myself for UPSC?
How can I motivate myself for UPSC?
Is it possible for one to motivate oneself to prepare for UPSC examination? I am comparatively new to the job, having been promoted only 3-4 months back. I have heard that an officer, who has been working with me for over two years, sat for the examination and cleared it. Although I don't have any grouse with him, I have, after he left for his course abroad, come to feel that I should be one of the best in the job, and I have started worrying over this, so much so that I am unable to concentrate on my daily routine. Please advise me.

Unless one actually takes up the job for which one has qualified for, there isn't much one can do to motivate oneself. It is important to recognize what is going on within oneself. In the absence of that, one can't really take any drastic.
